GDYNIA ARENA


Location
Located at the foot of picturesque moraine hills nearby forest area, blends perfectly into this unique landscape. Masts and guy-wires used in the construction, link arena with the sea symbolism and produce impression of airiness and lightness. High green embankments circling hall walls emphasize connection with natural environment. Glass corridors enable audience, connection with garden-like surroundings.


Transportation
By plane - 30 minutes from Lech Walesa Airport. (3-city ring -> Witomino exit -> Chwarznieńska st. -> Małokacka st. -> Olimpijska st. -> Kazimierza Górskiego st.).
By SKM commuter train - get off at Gdynia Redłowo station or Gdynia Wzgórze Św. Maksymiliana station (both in 10 minutes walking distance).
By bus - 172, 182 or free lines 06 and 08 to "Wzgórze" Shopping Center (2 minutes on foot).

Infrastructure
Arena is designed to host basketball, handball and volleyball games. When it is not used for the sport tournaments it can be rearranged in 3 training basketball or volleyball courts. Players facilities include: four spacious 60 m2 locker rooms, fully professional gym, sauna and massage room. Builiding with its health care area, drug test cabbin, lodges for referees and coaches and also with two conference rooms with full audio-visual equipment is suited perfectly to host international sports and entertainment events.


Hall functionality is increased by easily arrangable platforms for audience, which four bottom rows are movable. Two wall screens are mounted in the hall corners for commercial use of multimedia on site. Illumination which totals, 2800lx is sufficient for tv broadcasting in HD. Placing of the press stand will please even the most demanding reporters.

Each area of the hall was designed to be easily accesible to disabled persons.
