This is the 2nd attempt at the 26th round of the Energa Basket League. This Tuesday at 20:00 in an overdue away match against Enea Astoria Bydgoszcz. Will we be able to make the 9th win of the season?
This match will decide whether we stay in the EBL, but that doesn't mean that our players are thinking of summer just yet. We will try to secure the win. Bydgoszcz had to go ona break due to the COVID, which is why the match that was to occur on the 28th of February will be moved to 9th of March.

The opponent: Enea Astoria Bydgoszcz, 11-15 win-loss balance, 12th in the table
Playstyle, valuable players: The team led by Artur Gronka prefers a quick game with immediate counterattacks and a high quantity of throws. The US player Corey Sanders (18 points, 4.6 rebounds, 7.4 assists, 1 steal) excels at those, and is noted to be the sixth best thrower and best assist delivered overall in the EBL. He is the focal point of Astoria's offense. Many players rely on his passes: Tomislav Gabrić (14.1 points, 4.6 rebounds), Paulius Dambrauskas (12.4 points, 3.5 assists, 1 steal) and Adrian Bogucki (10.6 points, 7.4 reobunds). In terms of long range, Michal Chylinski is the one to be watched out for, one of the best "snipers" in the league. Jakub Niziol is the one to fly to the hoop, while Zane Waterman is well integrating with the team.

The key to victory: Coach Piotr Blechacz and his team must limit Sander's movement. In order to counter the quick offensive of Bydgoszcz, we must quickly return to our own basket. Adam Hrycaniuk must use his imposing physique to its full advantage. The number of simple losses must be limited as well, as it has been our plague this season. Asseco Arka has a well of energy to draw from - "Asta" has played on Sunday at Starogard Gdanski. We invite all to watch!
