Only 3 matches remain till the end of the 2020/2021 season. On March 12th, Friday, our team will travel to Stargard to face off against PGE Spojnia Stargard. The match will begin at 19:30.

The yellow-and-blues played at the OSiR hall already. On the 17th of January our opponent, however, was King Szczecin, who was forced to move due to their own hall being utilized as a temporary hospital. We lost then with a 32 point difference. This Friday, however, we will do our best to defeat our rivals, although whether Igor Wadowski will make an appearance remains unknown, due to his injury.

Time and place: 12th of March, Friday, OSiR hall at Stargard

Avalability: Emocje TV

Opponent: PGE Spojnia Stargard, 7th in the league table, 14-14 wins-losses

Playstyle and team composition: The maroon-and-white team have began winning consistently with the arrival of American Jay Threatt (14 points, 9.9 assists, 1 steal). The 31-year old is a true force on the court, noting an average of 10 assists per match, making him the best in the league. Along with his excellent throws, that makes him a unique player in the league. Nick Faust (16.8 points, 4.1 rebounds, 1.2 steals) was contracted this year as well. Although his decision making is questionable at times, he pulls off some of the hardest throws, one of which was the buzzer-beater in the match against Arged BM Slam Stal Ostrow Wielkopolski. Thanks to that throw, Spojnia won 84:83, which was crucial n their advancement to the playoff stage. Raymond Cowels (13.8 points, 4.9 rebounds) and frontcourt Baylee Steele (11 points, 7.2 rebounds) are the long range players. Known in Gdynia Polish players take to the field as well: Filip Matczak (11.4 points, 3.8 assists, 1.9 steals), Mateusz Kostrzewski (11.2 points, 4.4 rebounds) and Kacper Mlynarski (9.4 points, 4.3 rebounds). The team of coach Marek Lukomski mostly relies on scoring 2 pointers.

The last five matches: 77:67 against Anwil Włocławek, 84:83 against Stal Ostrów Wlkp, 86:87 against Pszczółka Start Lublin, 75:73 against HydroTruckiem Radom, 80:97 against Enea Zastalem BC Zielona Góra - 3 wins and 2 loses.

The key to victory: Our most important task is to close the frontcourt. Adam Hrycaniuk, Filip Dylewicz and Mikolaj Witlinski will have their hands full. The whole team will have to forget about the loss against Astoria and focus on the upcoming match. Breaking in Woloszyn will definitely be required. Wish our team all of the luck.
