How time flies. This Sunday, 21st of March, Asseco Arka will end their participation in the 2020/2021 season of Energa Basket League. The opponent: HydroTruck Radom.

The season ends early for us. In most cases, the yellow-and-blues managed to maintain their presence at least until April. This year, due to COVID-19, is different. An early start, playing without the crowd, a sleuth of changes in most EBL teams. These are just some of the reasons why the 2020/21 campaign will be considered atypical. In the last, 30th round of the regular round, our player will go to face off against HydroTruck.

Time and place: Sunday, 21st of March, 17:35, MOSiR hall in Radom

Availability: Emocje TV

Opponent: HydroTruck Radom, 9-20 win-loss balance, 14th in the table (numbers drawn before the 20th of March match between Polpharma Starogard Gdanski - Anwil Wloclawek).

Playstyle and notable players: Coach Robert Witka has the best scorer in the entire League on his side, Jabari Hinds (21.9 points, 4.6 assists, 1.6 steals). The 29-year old playmaker is the second most utilized player in the EBL, spending an average of 33 minutes per match on the court. Only Corey Sanders from Enea Astoria Bydgoszcz beats him there. Hinds is supported by Roberts Stumbris (12.2 points, 6.7 rebounds) and defender Dayon Griffin (11.5 points, 3 rebounds, 1 steal). All of them can take the ball and decide on their own on the final result of the match. Statistically, the reserve forward Filip Zegzula (9 points, 2 assists) enjoys his best season yet. Frontcourt is handled by Danilo Ostojić (8.9 points, 7 rebounds) and Brett Prahl (6.9 points, 4.4 rebounds), who are far from the best in that regard. Radom relies heavily on their long range capability. Other than their recent match against Anwil Wloclawek (70:64), they have scored at least 11 three pointers per match. Against Slask Wroclaw, they managed 18.

Last five matches: 87:97 against Kingiem Szczecin, 70:64 against Anwilem Włocławek, 83:75 against GTK Gliwice, 73:75 against PGE Spójnią Stargard, 97:75 against Śląskiem Wrocław - 3 wins i 2 loses.

The key to victory: Taking away their long range capability is a given. Coach Robert Witka and his players are definitely capable of sudden rushes. In the last two matches, our junior players showed their best and we hope to see that continue on Sunday. Karlo Vragović must maintain his scoring rhythm. We hope for your support!
